Long time, no post.
Anyway, I've been at Gemma and David's house now for two full days. It's pretty nice to have this little vacation, just bumming around.
On Thursday, I finally wrote the Bio review that I missed when I was sick on Monday. Linda marked it basically right away. I was really nervous, cause marks matter A LOT in grade twelve, and I want to do well (obviously)... and I was so happy when I got my marks back- 96%!!!!!!! Ahhh, I felt sooo good. And it was all hard stuff like DNA/cell parts etc. Laura and I left school early to catch the bus for our LONG TREK to Vancity to their house. It wasn't very bad, just BORING, and there were a lot of things to carry.
Yesterday, David and I went downtown and then to Stanley Park to get tickets for the Ghost Train. We went by bus, and it took forever. In total, we were gone for about three hours almost. Blah!
However, our tickets were for ten to ten thirty last night, and we went back with Gemma and Laura, and their mom Theresa. We waited in line forever, but it was worth it. It was longer than I thought, and really well put together. And a little cheesy at times, which I like. There was this wolf dressed up in costume, and it was walking around while we were in the final line for the train. We saw the train coming down the tracks, and he was like "The train is coming now!" Laura responded with a "no duh!" cause it was REALLY obvious since it was blowing its horn or whatever it was called. The wolf guy swooped back and hissed "No one likes smart alecs!" It was soooo funny.
Well, that's all the news that's fit to print now!
The Friday Five
1. What is your favorite scary movie?
Any Chucky movie, as in Childs Play. These movies rock.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat?
Hm.... those rockets that are like sweet tarts or something.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume.
I was Belle from Beauty and the Beast one year, and my mom made me this beautiful yellow dress. I was obsessed with it.
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events?
We actually make our old house into a haunted house, and we dress up spooky to scare little kids. It's a lot of fun.
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year?
Yeah- I'm being a flapper, the sluts of their time.

What Pattern Are You?
Slowly descending into sickness...
That's right, folks, I'm getting sick. I've felt it coming for the past week but it's getting worse, I can tell. I really should be studying right now, but I'm taking a little break. I worked all day yesterday, but it was awesome cause Laura and Balbina showed up as a surprise!!! It was so good to see them... there soooo nice for coming to see me. Thanx guys!
Today, I finished my homework but am left with a pile of never-ending bio to study. With studying, you never really feel as if you have finished... it just keeps going. My math tutor came over- I'm getting THISCLOSE to finishing Math 11, I can taste it! Plus, I've been doing laundry all day, and my room really needs a clean!
I opened a Xanga blog thingy. Natasha and I were on MSN last night, and somehow we both opened one. I've been tres busy with school work this weekend, but when I get a chance, I'll snazz it up. The address is xanga.com/wildpinky... get a Xanga, guys!
Over and out...

Wow, already Friday!!! Which means.... Friday Five!!
1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
three
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
A lot.... hmmmmmm around 12 hours I'm guessing. Well, that's not TOOOOO bad.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
No! I believe all television is educational in some weird, twisted way.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
Friends, Do Over, Byker Grove, No Sweat, and probably more which I can't think of.
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
Good question. I would have all comedy shows, with a mix of old sitcoms (think, Alf, Perfect Strangers, Degrassi, Three's Company, Monkee's, I Love Lucy, etc.), today's best (Friends, Will and Grace), and trippy movies (Willy Wonka, Howard the Duck, Back to the Future, Footloose, All the Child's Play and Chucky Movies, Dirty Dancing)

Yeah, it's late, but I really felt like writing here. My three day weekend was pretty uneventful, and look! It's over already. I have so much school work, dance, obligations, on my plate right now. November is gonna be so busy! My ballet exam is worrying me most of all. I never have time to think about dance OUTSIDE of dance, and because of this I can't remember any set exercises. Plus, I need to know
all of the steps, each variation on the step, the name, and meaning. Such as, frappe means "to strike". Ugh. I feel so incapable.
I have school work as well. I just finished writing a 600 word essay on the Greenhouse Effect for Geography. And in the meantime, I'm trying to finish Math 11. I gave myself Sept. and Oct. to finish it, and I really hope to stay on schedule.
I got really aggrevated today trying to print the stupid school newspaper. No computers would work, and the printer kept having errors, screwing up, and jamming. RRRRRR!!!!!!!! I was so frazzled. I can't even begin to think about all the lollipops I should be selling for grad.
Some pleasing things- got to go to a Canucks game, the home opener, Saturday night. We won, it was awesome!!! I even got to drive home (in the dark!) for the first time! It was scary because a squeegee man came to wash my windows- even though I was saying "No" he's like "It's on the house". My windows ended up more dirty than before.
You spin me right round, baby, right round, like a record baby...
Sorry for that sudden outburst of song, but I've been listening to too much 80's music!
We got to play "Lady Marmalade" in band class (I play the drums), but I doubt that will last long. We sucked!
Everyone at school seems to be starting a Teen Open Diary, but I think I'll stay away from that. If people want to know the going-ons in my life, they can come here. Otherwise, it gets too complicated.
Picked up a new issue of "Nylon"- Em's got me hooked, this mag ROCKS!

First I'm gonna start with the Friday Five...
1. If you could only choose 1 cd to ever listen to again, what would it be?
I know it says one, but I can't choose.... No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom is a C.D. I can never listen to enough... and when I'm feeling creative, the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack is absolutely awesome.
2. If you could only choose 2 movies to watch ever again, what would they be?
Waiting for Guffman is the first, this movie is so funny, and if you're involved in the performing arts, this is a must-see. The second would be Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn is my fav. actress and idol (u should see my bedroom!). An honourable mention goes to Moulin Rouge.
3. If you could only choose 3 books to read ever again, what would they be?
Capture the Castle, Harry Potter (anyone, especially the 3rd... wait the 2nd... or maybe the 4th?? They're all irresistable!), and Alice in Wonderland.
4. If you could only choose 4 things to eat or drink ever again, what would they be?
Hmmm.... I'd choose water, grapes, olives, and ice cream. Don't ask.
5. If you could only choose 5 people to ever be/talk/associate/whatever with ever again, who would they be?
This is a pretty mean question, cause it's impossible to decide! My sister, Laura. She's awesome, we're really close. Em, duh. Nate- she sees things the way I do. Jessica cause she's hilarious and happy. David & Gemma are number 5, and I'm counting them as one person. They're basically like cousins to my sister and I, we have known them since birth!
Speaking of friends, HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATASHA!!!!!!!! She turns 15 in a matter of hours... I've gotta remember to call her!
Today I was at ballet, and I came to the realization that my I.S.T.D. Inter. ballet exam is in a month! I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There is so much vocabulary to know that they could ask for. And each step has a bazillion ways of being done. All in FRENCH!
When I got home, I got excited because there were new BYKER GROVES on the BBC Kids channel. Laura and I have been waiting all summer, seriously. It was well worth it!
Homework's extensive this holiday long weekend. I have to finish my English novel, study about "Verbs" and lotsa Bio, and do Geography homework. Just thought I'd share that with you.
On a totally different, lighter note, the Santa Clause 2 is coming out November 1st!! I am beyond excited about this- all the original characters seem to be back (and I'm crossing my toes for the Elves with Attitude!). My sister says Bernard went through puberty. All I can say is... what took them so long to make a sequel to this family favourite?
